How to find us

By Car:
Leave the A9 at the Ballinluig junction and follow the signs (A827) to Aberfeldy. Take the Kenmore Road through Aberfeldy, over the mini roundabout (passing Alma Avenue on your left and Taybridge Drive on your right). Take the second turning on your left into Orchard Brae and The Beeches. As you turn off the main road you will see a single track driveway going straight ahead between the roads going left and right. You will then see the sign for Brae House.

The nearest airport is Edinburgh or Glasgow.

About Us

Hi I’m Patti, a former TV Production Manager.

I moved to Brae House in May 2008 with my partner Jim, an engineering designer. The historic and scenically beautiful town of Aberfeldy in picturesque Highland Perthshire offered us a new way of life, a far cry from our former lives in the bustling Capital, and we have put a great deal of care and attention into making every detail just right at Brae House B&B.

Patti Walker-Booth

After leaving school, at 17, my unsettled spirit took me to Canada, to work in the theatre, which subsequently led to my travelling the length and breadth of the UK with various theatre tours, and to many locations with the BBC. I finally decided I’d had enough of the erratic, pressured and somewhat unstable world of television, and moved into the business of property and letting. During regular trips to Edinburgh, staying in a mixture of hotels and guest houses, we found a lovely B&B on the coast, which planted a seed that slowly grew over the next few months, culminating in the reality of running our own B&B.

We’ve been here in Aberfeldy welcoming guests from all over the world and hope to welcome you, to Brae House very soon.

"Patti is a wonderful host and the B&B is lovely"
