The Birks of Aberfeldy

First up is the The Birks of Aberfeldy.

Starting in the Birks car park, this is a circular walk through wonderful mixed woodland with the Falls of Moness at the top tumbling into the gorge. This beautiful short walk is extremely popular. Popularised in a song by Robert Burns, the walk is around 2.5 miles long and will take you around 1 – 2 hours depending on how fast you walk and how often you stop to admire the scenery. The path is well marked with some up and downhill, and there are handrails for much of the route.

Next is the Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery.

No trip to Scotland would be complete without a visit to a whisky distillery, even if you don’t like or don’t drink whisky.

There’s an award-winning heritage exhibition, tours and tastings and a relaxing Whisky Lounge to just enjoy the atmosphere of the historic 19th century environment.
